SALARY: The salary range for this position is $64,962.45 to $ for Schedule A, and $64,962.45 to $ for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule

REMOTE WORKThe Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
The Hudson Vicinage is seeking a customer-oriented, goal-oriented professional with excellent technical, accounting, and financial management skills to work in its Finance Division. Under the general direction of the Court Executive 2B (Finance Division Manager) or Court Executive 1B (Assistant Finance Division Manager), the selected candidate will perform professional administrative and cash management functions for the court held funds and revenues unit and supervise the diverse work activities of a team composed of support personnel within the Finance Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Accept, process, internally control, and system manage court-ordered payments and filings, including Bail, Child Support, Fines and Restitution, Civil, General Equity, Family Law Division, Special Civil Part filings, and other miscellaneous sanctions and application fees.
- Develop appropriate goals and standards.
- Monitor work productivity.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and court rules.
- Mentor and coach staff.
- Assess training needs.
- Advise management on personnel issues and unresolved staff or team conflicts.
- Distribute and prioritize work.
- Ensure proper resource allocation.
- Handle personnel actions, including participation in staff recruitment.
- Make recommendations for pre-disciplinary and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure staff accountability and conduct formal performance evaluations.
- Hold monthly staff meetings.
- Prepare statistical and financial reports, reconciliations, ledgers, and analysis.
- Review system reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare productivity progress reports.
- Approve timesheets and leave requests.
- Participate in partnership meetings.
- Successfully interact with internal and external customers and collaborate with financial auditors.
- Maintain regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 21 credit hours in accounting, business administration, economics, public administration, statistics, mathematics, data analytics, or finance-related courses (including six credit hours in accounting).
