• Contact borrowers via telephone, mail, and email to establish payment arrangements for outstanding delinquencies
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to determine appropriate plans of action for resolving past due accounts
• Provide account information and educate borrowers on the seriousness of their payment issues
• Update borrower demographic and account information in the servicing system
• Perform additional collection activities related to documentation and reporting

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service, collection, and general work experience preferred
• Strong oral communication and listening skills
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in PC skills and intermediate math

• Experience in a customer-focused environment
• Familiarity with collection processes and best practices
• Proficiency in 10-key data entry
