Location:

Louisville, CO (In-Office)

Total Compensation Potential: $140,000 - $175,000+ | Base + Performance Incentives

About Us

We're an independent wealth management firm located in Louisville, CO currently experiencing strong, intentional growth and are continuing to build a collaborative, relationship-first team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner to join our growing advisory team. This role is designed for an experienced, client-centric professional who enjoys being deeply involved in client relationships, financial planning execution, and firm-wide service delivery.

Position Summary

This is a dual-focused role combining firm-wide financial planning responsibilities with direct client advisory work. The individual will serve as lead advisor on a defined set of client relationships while also contributing to planning work across the broader client base. The position offers flexibility in long-term career path: some individuals may grow into a senior advisor role, while others may choose to remain a highly compensated, planning- and service-focused advisor long term.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships & Lead Advisory
    • Serve as lead advisor for a defined group of clients, owning the relationship and planning experience end-to-end
    • Deliver a consistently high-quality client experience, measured against firm service standards and client retention targets
    • Coordinate and lead client reviews, scheduling, and ongoing communication
    • Manage day-to-day client needs and follow-up with responsiveness and care
    • Support senior advisors on a broader set of client relationships as needed
    • Actively work to deepen client trust and satisfaction in ways that support long-term retention
  • Relationship Growth & Revenue Development
    • Identify and act on opportunities to grow the value of relationships within your client base through expanded planning scope, additional assets, or new services
    • Cultivate referrals through exceptional service and relationship depth; participate in converting referred prospects into clients
    • Track and report on revenue trends within actively serviced relationships
    • As tenure grows, take on an expanding set of defined client relationships with associated revenue responsibility
  • Firm-Wide Financial Planning
    • Serve as a key financial planning resource across the firm, supporting advisors and clients at various stages of the planning process
    • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive financial plans including retirement, tax, estate, cash flow, and insurance analysis
    • Help identify planning opportunities and proactively surface insights for advisor teams
    • Contribute to the development of planning processes, templates, and best practices firm-wide
  • Execution & Implementation
    • Handle account openings, transfers, and client paperwork accurately
    • Support implementation of planning recommendations
    • Maintain meeting notes, action items, and workflows in firm systems
    • Work closely with Advisors, Operations, and Portfolio team members
    • Help identify ways to improve processes and the overall client experience
Preferred Experience
  • CFP® designation (required or in progress)
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management (Minimum 3+ years of financial planning experience)
  • Experience owning end-to-end client relationships and delivering financial plans independently
  • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to clients
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable owning responsibility across multiple work streams
  • Team-oriented mindset — willing to support wherever needed
  • Experience with eMoney, Fidelity Wealthscape, or Holistiplan is a plus
Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a structured, multi-year compensation path with clear progression tied to expanding responsibility and client ownership. Total compensation potential grows significantly as the advisor deepens their role within the firm.

Additional Benefits
  • 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor match
  • Full employer-paid medical, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance for employee
  • Ongoing professional development and continuing education support
  • Paid vacation and flexible personal day policy, including remote work as needed
