This production-focused role seeks an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to handle multiple files from application to funding. With a consistent flow of inbound deals, your focus will be on clean files and accurate structuring. The position is remote and designed for growth, transitioning from part-time to full-time based on performance and volume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review applications using FINMO for thoroughness

• Analyze credit and income for deal viability

• Identify risks and ensure correct file structuring

• Collaborate with brokers on lender placements

• Manage files proactively until funding completion

Requirements:

• 3+ years in mortgage underwriting is preferred

• Experience with A, B, and alternative loans

• Ability to handle self-employed and credit-challenged files

• Proficiency in mortgage platforms like FINMO

• Strong communication skills for collaboration
