Redington-Fairview General Hospital is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all financial functions of the organization. This leader will guide financial strategy, manage risk, optimize reimbursement, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting our mission to deliver high‑quality cost effective healthcare to our community.

This role is primarily based on‑site, with occasional remote work flexibility as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute long‑term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning and capital allocation
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard hospital assets
• Optimize revenue cycle performance across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic operations
• Monitor hospital specific reimbursement programs (e.g., Critical Access)
• Oversee capital planning and debt management
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state healthcare financial regulations
• Oversee audits and cost reporting
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on risk mitigation
• Lead and mentor finance, revenue cycle, and related administrative teams
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Engage effectively with clinical and operational leaders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Progressive financial leadership experience within a healthcare organization
• Strong knowledge of hospital reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid, and rural healthcare funding models
