You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities- Understand and interpret key drivers of health care trends
- Assist in developing analytics that serve as the foundation for actuarial medical cost forecasting
- Translate highly complex concepts in forecasting & trends in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences including senior leaders
- Serve as a consultant to the local markets to explain forecasted & historical trend drivers
- Work to improve and develop advanced analytic techniques and predictive models
- Mentor and develop a small team of actuarial students, helping them create unique solutions to complex problems

Required Qualifications- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) designation
- 5+ years of Actuarial experience
- Proficiency with R, python, and/or SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Advanced or higher level of proficiency in Excel, especially model development
- Experience working in finance or the health care industry
- Experience communicating actuarial concepts & models to non-actuarial audiences

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment.
