** This involves evaluating complex financial data, collaborating with key stakeholders, and influencing investment decision-making. Additionally, the role is responsible for producing accurate and timely management information, including complex financial performance analysis and translating data into decision-relevant insights to ensure alignment with business objectives.

** Your New Role
*** Develop long-term and near-term financial plans, partnering with relevant functional areas to articulate business priorities and financial plans to execute against those priorities.
* Deliver accurate financial reporting metrics by analysing financial data, performing complex data entry, verifying accuracy and collaborating with senior leadership as needed.
* Assist Finance Business Partners in developing and executing strategies to help achieve the goals and objectives of the departments/towers.
* Prepare and maintain the budgeting and forecasting tool for assigned line(s) of business.
* Prepare regular reports including KPI and dashboard reporting , recommendations, and interpretations to the leadership group based on financial and operating data and variances in the budget.
* Ensure compliance with existing policies, procedures and relevant regulations/legislations.
* Maintain an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives.
* Assist in the financial analysis of feasibility of projects as well as benefits realised from key initiatives.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
* Provide visible leadership, effective communication, and feedback to the team.
** About You
*** Significant experience in an accounting/planning and analysis role, with preference for MI system implementation.
* Exposure to insurance business and regional roles.
* Experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to AIFRS being advantageous.
* Preference for work experience in consulting and/or financial planning and analysis, as well as in a shared service environment.
* Professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a finance role, with increasing levels of responsibility.
* Proven experience of consistent and constructive people management capabilities.

* Qualifications:
** Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Certificates as an accountant.
