IT Audit Associate - REMOTE

Summary

The Ryder Audit Services (RAS) department is a high‑performing team that provides internal audit services and support to business leaders across the organization. RAS engages in both audit and advisory activities aimed at adding value and driving continuous improvement in Ryder’s business processes and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory obligations.

• Support the objectives established for SOX compliance, including conducting and participating in walkthroughs and testing the design and operational effectiveness of key processes and controls.
• Participate in the execution of audits and reviews focused on business processes and technologies supporting compliance, operations, finance, and accounting.
• Conduct interviews and review documents to understand business objectives and related processes and controls.
• Communicate the results of RAS projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.

• Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with coworkers.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with auditees and staff through individual contact and group meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information and systems, and draw logical conclusions (preferred).
• Time‑management skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines (preferred).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and presenting findings and recommendations (preferred).
• Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co‑workers, contractors, and external contacts and to work effectively in a professional team environment (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookups, and conditional formulas are a plus (preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, information systems/technology, or a related major field of study.
• One (1) year or more of experience in auditing, accounting, information systems/technology, or a related area preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification preferred.

• Minimum Pay Range: $65,000.00
• Maximum Pay Range: $70,000.00
