Tax Senior

The Tax Senior at Catalyst Family Office demonstrates consistent proficiency as a tax team member across a range of projects and is now taking increased ownership for the management and implementation of projects.

The firm is known for its work on behalf of highly entrepreneurial and tech‑savvy wealth owners, helping them manage their sophisticated and complex wealth challenges.

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, partnerships, and non‑profit clients.
• Assist tax interns and tax associates.
• Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities.
• Bring unusual or significant tax questions to the attention of the manager or partner.
• Tackle increasingly complex accounting and/or tax issues.
• Remain knowledgeable and up to date on industry developments.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• Three years or more full‑time work in tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and non‑profit entities.
• Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office with advanced Excel capabilities).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

• Primary office in Mountain View, CA with partial remote work availability.

• The compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $145,000 per year; final compensation will be tailored to the candidate’s unique combination of skills, experience, and qualifications as well as geographic location.
