Two Sigma Investments, LP seeks a Quantitative Researcher in NY, NY.
Conduct comprehensive quantitative/statistical research and analysis, applying market intuition to enhance monetization of alpha models.
Work ArrangementCompany has a "Hybrid" work attendance policy:
In‑office work attendance is required at the office address for collaboration days based on each team's requirement; telecommuting/working from home is permissible for the remainder of the same month.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- Required skills include, but are not limited to, demonstrated knowledge of Python libraries such as numpy, scikit‑learn, and pandas for handling, analyzing, and performing statistical data analysis on large datasets (300‑500 GB).
- Experience in quantitative research and finance is not required; the position accepts any amount of experience as long as the required skills are met.
Rate of pay: $165,000 – $325,000 per year (may also be eligible for additional forms of compensation and benefits).
