Medior Transaction Monitoring Analyst

We are looking for a Medior Transaction Monitoring Analyst within the Transaction Monitoring department at our headquarter in Amsterdam. Get ready to dive into the thrilling world of financial alerts and conducting insightful event-driven reviews.

• Assessing the daily inflow of financial alerts;
• Describe the customer profile, analyze financial data, describe why a specific alert was triggered, do a plausibility check on the transactions and see if they align with the expected behavior of the customer, and log your findings in detail;
• Searching in public sources for information regarding the customer, verifying if all the information is up-to-date, and determining the appropriate risk profile for the customer;
• Having contact with customers regarding remarkable transactions and client information;
• Making sure that all processes are compliant with laws and regulations;
• Work closely together with the TM professionals within all branches of LYNX.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Finance, Law, or Criminology)
• 1.5–2 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring
• Solid understanding of AML regulations and financial crime risks
• Knowledge of investment products and financial markets
• Experience with customer communication and documentation requests
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Strong written communication skills for investigation documentation
