Your role with us

  • Responsibility for the Bucherer Group’s consolidated financial reporting and consolidation (monthly and annually) in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
  • Ensuring the correct accounting treatment of complex business transactions (e.g. acquisitions, restructurings, valuations)
  • Further development and implementation of group-wide accounting policies, financial statement requirements and system logic
  • Definition and management of group-wide intercompany governance (guidelines, standards, cut-off rules)
  • Monitoring the quality and completeness of intercompany reconciliations and supporting the national subsidiaries in the event of discrepancies
  • Responsibility for the Group Closing Calendar and for standardised financial statement, documentation and disclosure requirements
  • Management and coordination of Group financial statement audits (interim and annual financial statements)
  • Further development and assurance of an effective internal control system (ICS) in collaboration with Internal Audit and IT
  • Maintaining and further developing group-wide accounting and finance policies in consultation with Rolex
  • Optimising the IT landscape and contributing to group-wide reporting and consolidation projects
  • Responsibility for international tax reporting (including country-by-country reporting, BEPS)
  • Coordinating tax planning, compliance and transfer pricing documentation in collaboration with external experts

What you bring to the role

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Tax
  • Further qualifications in finance and accounting (e.g. Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting & Controlling or Chartered Accountant)
  • Several years’ experience in group accounting, consolidated financial reporting or auditing; ideally in a managerial role
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and the consolidation environment
  • Experience of working with international subsidiaries and external auditors
  • Practical experience in the further development of accounting manuals, internal control systems and IT landscapes
  • Very good written and spoken German and English;
    French would be an advantage
  • Strong professional expertise in group accounting, consolidation and financial reporting
  • High level of IT proficiency and experience with reporting and consolidation tools (ideally Luca Net, Tagetik)
  • Assertiveness, clear communication and confident stakeholder management
  • Proactivity, a solution-oriented approach and a structured and analytical way of working
