What You Will Do
This Finance Co-op Student role supports the finance department with day-to-day accounting and financial analysis activities. This position provides practical experience in financial operations, attention to detail, and professional business practices within a corporate environment. This full-time role will report to our Cambridge office daily, with the potential for some remote work based on role requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Cash receipt entry and follow-up.
Assist with EFT and cheque preparation.
Cashflow tracking.
Complete assigned reconciliations.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments.
Assist with the finance projects.
What You Will Bring
Enrollment in a College/University program in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Eligible for a co-op or internship term through your institution.
Proficient use in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Ability to follow oral and / or written instructions, as well as perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.
Works well independently.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working with computerized accounting software is considered an asset.
