Job Description
The Senior Manager Parcel Insights & Pricing is responsible for the daily support of business development, Ryder clients, finance team, and parcel operations with the analysis and review of pricing for new business and analysis of and re‑pricing existing business. Develops and maintains computer models. Responsible for training the analysts on strategic insights and pricing.

Essential Functions- Daily pricing support: perform all pricing for any new and existing customers; provide analytical support to Director of Strategic Insights, Business Development team, and Parcel Operations to support decision‑making.
- Employee development and supervision: assist in planning staffing requirements, hiring (internal & external), work plan development, employee training and development, employee review and performance appraisals, provide overview and direction on projects, facilitate the flow of work and communication between analysts.
- Develop tools for pricing strategy and tactics: develop and continually enhance Pricing and Analytics models; participate in strategy discussion to determine roadmap of analytics and pricing.
- Reporting: instrumental in development and continual support of client‑facing automated reporting dashboards and internal reporting dashboards.
- Annual Price Increase Process: complete yearly requirement, from carrier and client analyses to system uploads, developing and enhancing tools as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
- Master's degree in MBA, business, finance or related field.
- 4 years or more in pricing experience.
- Knowledge of Excel, DOMO.
- Python advanced proficiency.
- Technical proficiency in strategic analysis advanced.
- Proficiency with computer applications and sophisticated PC spreadsheets advanced.
