About the Job
As an Accounting Manager at Avandra Imaging, you will have a critical role in supporting day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple operating entities. You will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operation of the accounting department as well as collaborating with other departments within the organization. This role also includes managing accounting systems while ensuring a strong understanding of operational systems and data.
You will play a critical role in maintaining strong cash flow, financial accuracy, and operational discipline as the company continues to scale.
The successful candidate will have a positive, professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills and will be able to work as a team player. The nature of the work will require demonstrating initiative and responsibility and being flexible/adaptive to a fast‑paced and fluid business environment; the candidate should be able to communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization and able to solve practical problems.
This is a hands‑on, operational role based in Avandra’s Eagan, Minnesota office, or open to remote within the U.S. for the right person.
What You’ll Do- Complete and oversee the month‑end close process.
- Post journal entries for the month‑end close process related to assigned GL accounts.
- Analyze financial data (budgets, forecasts, and variance reports) to provide insights and recommendations to the Director of Accounting and Finance.
- Support year‑end income tax reporting and coordinate annual CPA audits.
- Monitor daily cash flow and perform bank account reconciliations.
- Complete and lead the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Assist in preparation of annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Adhere to internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory filings, annual reporting, and corporate insurance audits.
- Oversee preparation of 1099s and other year‑end tax form submissions.
- Reconcile employee benefits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee employee expense reimbursement process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department and implement best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in an Accounting Manager seat.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using Quick Books Online.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growing, multi‑entity environment. Ability to build relationships with critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal, emphasizing attention to detail.

- $130,000 - $150,000 base salary (plus up to 10% discretionary bonus) depending on experience and alignment with role expectations.
