Where You Will WorkThis position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Mankato, MN;
Lakeville, MN; or Rochester, MN office locations.
This position accurately and efficiently delivers required disclosures, closing packages, funding, closed loan information and post-closing shipping and validation for Compeer Home loans. The incumbent is responsible for accuracy and timely delivery of transactions to investors and servicer.
A Typical Day- Review loan files to ensure all milestones have been completed prior to closing.
- Enter accurate information into the LOS and process, prepare, and deliver disclosures, closing disclosures, and closing packages in a compliant and timely manner.
- Assemble and deliver closing packages, coordinate with title companies, balance closing disclosures, and manage funding sheets and wire transfers.
- Consult with internal legal and compliance departments to ensure loan documents are compliant.
- Lock in interest rates for all internal and external loan products and programs; validate Service Release Premiums and confirm accurate pricing adjustments. Administer rate lock extensions and changes in accordance with procedures.
- Review closed/signed/completed loan packages to ensure completeness and relevance of documents.
- Fund disbursements for loans closing with outside title companies; create funding sheets and request wire transfers from Cash Desk.
- Ensure timely and accurate loan posting and reporting to Balancing and Finance departments.
- Prepare and file/index documents for long‑term storage.
- Upload documents to sub‑servicer and ensure timely delivery of requirements for sub‑serviced loans.
- Follow post‑close trailing documents procedures and workflows to ensure all required documentation is received in a timely manner.
- Manage follow‑up with title companies and lending partners to finalize loans per investor requirements (Farmer Mac, Freddie Mac and Portfolio).
- Prepare Allonges, service transfer letters and manage transmittals for files in the pool sales.
- Ship files in pool sales and update shipping logs.
- Maintain monthly US Bank Exception report.
- Execute MERS requirements and deliver loans through MERS as applicable.
- Attend regular training sessions offered by Compeer, investors and various vendors.
- Work with internal and external auditors to revise processes and procedures to comply with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in training Compeer Home team members on tasks that impact document processing.
- Other duties as requested to meet the needs of the organization.
- High School Diploma. Associate’s degree in business administration, agribusiness or related field preferred.
