Healthcare Investment Banking – Director (Managing Director Track)

We seek an experienced bank executive to grow our healthcare investment banking practice in Chicago. The candidate will lead transactions, facilitate new business development and mentor junior staff with the goal of progressing to Managing Director.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct business development activities to identify, source and introduce potential clients for M&A and capital‑raising assignments.
  • Participate in preparing client materials, including business, market positioning and financial condition summaries.
  • Identify potential buyers and investors, contacting them on behalf of clients.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts in relevant fields to support new client acquisition and relationship expansion.
  • Supervise and mentor staff members.
Requirements
  • Expertise in the healthcare sector with operating or consulting experience preferred.
  • Five years of advisory‑related experience, preferably in investment banking.
  • Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and/or relevant professional designation.

Extractive Energy Investment Banking – Vice President (Director Track)

We are hiring a seasoned banker for our oil‑field services practice in Chicago. The role focuses on transaction execution, new business development and mentoring with a progression path to Director.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct business development activities to identify, source, and introduce potential clients for M&A and capital‑raising assignments.
  • Participate in preparing client materials that describe business, market positioning and financial condition.
  • Identify potential buyers and investors for client businesses and contact them on the client’s behalf.
  • Develop a network of contacts in relevant fields to assist the firm in finding new clients and expanding relationships with potential investors.
  • Supervise and mentor staff members.
Requirements
  • Expertise in energy, particularly oil‑field services, with operating or consulting experience preferred.
  • Five years of advisory‑related experience.
  • Prior investment‑banking experience and knowledge of the process and client expectations.
  • Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and/or relevant professional designation; an engineering undergraduate degree is ideal.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong independent work habits.

Investment Banking Analyst (Full‑time and Part‑time Remote)

The Analyst program offers junior professionals exposure to multiple industries and transaction types, including M&A, financing and restructuring. Analysts work on small deal teams and may support senior bankers across the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical financial statements and project financial outcomes.
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling.
  • Research company, industry, market, and competitor data, and conduct due diligence.
  • Assist in identifying prospective investors and strategic buyers.
  • Lead information‑collection efforts for buyer due diligence.
  • Prepare Confidential Information Memoranda and M&A/raising presentations.
  • Participate in client discussions and due diligence meetings, maintaining relationships with client personnel.
  • Support industry‑focused marketing initiatives.
  • Write market‑trend analyses and related research.
Desired Skills and Experience

Compensation

Initial six months: compensation solely from success fees on closed transactions. Afterwards, base salary and bonus commensurate with performance and office income.
