Role Description
As an Actuarial Analyst III – Pricing, you will assist in building, improving, and maintaining pricing models for our direct lines of business. Working remotely, you will collaborate independently with Underwriting, IT, and other departments to ensure models function correctly, data is captured seamlessly, and pricing methods follow actuarial standards of practice and company policies. You will also develop reports and dashboards to provide insights to management and support the achievement of company goals.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring future sponsorship
- Open to remote work but required to travel to Saint Louis, MO a few times per year
- 2 or more exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society and actively pursuing actuarial credentials
- 4 or more years of experience in commercial lines pricing at an insurance company or rating bureau
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software
- Experience with SQL, VBA, Power BI, and Python or R
- Strong analytical and programming skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills
- Experience building and maintaining pricing models
- Experience creating and maintaining databases
- Willingness to pursue ongoing learning through formal or informal education or seminars

Target base salary range: $86,000 to $112,000.
