Tax Analyst

About the Role

A 1-year contract assignment on behalf of the client. This is a W-2 position located in Houston, TX 77024. Hybrid role – training period will be Onsite;
Monday & Friday work from home;
Tuesday‑Thursday in the office.

• Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, schedules, extensions, and payment estimates following the client’s tax filing calendar.
• Conduct financial and economic analyses, prepare the client’s financial plans and budgets, and interpret financial reports and tax returns.
• Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims; prepare tax calculations to support tax controversy analysis.
• Conduct tax assumptions in project models.
• Perform other job‑related responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $30.00/hr to $35.00/hr.
