Controller / Finance Manager for US Property Mgmt Leader (Remote)

Equity Team Property Management is a dynamic and expanding leader in the residential property management market in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.

Due to growth, we are seeking a dedicated leader of our Finance and Accounting team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial operations while working in a collaborative, innovative environment that values transparency, strong systems, and ownership.

You will leverage your extensive property management accounting experience to oversee daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making and help sustain our growth trajectory.

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Collaborate with property managers and leadership to optimize financial performance
• Oversee tenant billing, rent collections, and expense tracking
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial audits as needed
• Implement and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy

• Proven experience in property management, accounting, or real estate finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced experience and skills with QBO, RENTVINE, PAYLOCITY, STRIPE, and other industry SAAS programs.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Strong communication skills to partner effectively with leadership and team members
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data management
