About the Role
Credit Management Officer reporting to the Head of Finance and functionally to the Head of Group Credit Management in ATR HQ. Provides credit management support to the organization; requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Account Management
- Update approved customer credit lines and maintain accounts in SAP.
- Monitor credit risk by releasing orders based on overdue invoices and credit utilisation.
- Ensure bank guarantees (letter of credit) are in place and renewed on time.
- Track incoming payments, apply to invoices, issue credit notes and clear accounts.
- Communication with Customers
- Provide monthly account statements and on‑request statements.
- Obtain financial statements for solvency assessment and credit line decisions.
- Ensure prompt payments through e‑mail or video calls.
- Debt Recovery
- Follow up on overdue invoices in a friendly, diplomatic manner.
- Manage advanced payments and rescheduled debt instalments.
- Prepare claims for credit insurers or external recovery providers.
- Collect and analyse customer disputes and coordinate resolution.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Foreign Languages with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Right to live and work in Singapore without restrictions.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English;
French required; knowledge of Chinese or Italian is an advantage. - Proficient in SAP R/3 FI/CO, MS Office (advanced Excel), Power BI and PC skills.
