We are looking for a Tax Analyst for a 1‑year contract (W‑2) in Houston, TX 77024. The position is a hybrid role:
Monday & Friday work from home, Tuesday–Thursday onsite after training.
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, schedules, extensions, and payment estimates following the client’s tax filing calendar.
- Conduct financial and economic analyses, preparing the client’s financial plans and budgets and interpreting financial reports and tax returns.
- Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims; prepare tax calculations to support tax controversy analyses.
- Conduct tax assumptions in project models.
- Perform other job‑related responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Contract term: 1 year. Salary: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and skills.
