Job Overview
Finance Operational Analyst II provides financial support for critical areas and time‑bound processes such as the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and month‑end close cycle. Assists in preparing various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting. Collects information from across the company to build models that provide insight into underlying business dynamics.
Job Responsibilities- Prepares and reviews accurate and timely financial and business‑related analyses, research, and forecasts.
- Compiles and prepares accurate and timely reports.
- Conveys information using tables, graphs, and charts.
- Collects and synthesizes data from various areas, builds models, creates written presentations, and participates in business reviews.
- Develops analytical and statistical reports to support business activities.
- Interprets, analyzes, and implements complex business strategies.
- Supports annual budgeting and periodic forecasting of assigned business area, including variance analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Leads special financial and business‑related studies to support project objectives.
- Conducts alternative analyses, recommendations, and research from multiple sources.
- Supports functional and cross‑functional projects and implements process improvements.
- Articulates the impact of analyses and modeling on key financial measures (e.g., Gross Profit, Operating Margin).
- Conceptualizes, completes, and presents analysis to support management decisions, forecasts, and initiatives.
- Acts as an internal consultant and interacts with appropriate levels of management.

- Education and
Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Experience: 3‑5 years FP&A experience required. Strong strategic planning, financial and operations/business background.
- Strong analytical skills (numerical, verbal). Financial modeling experience.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team; self‑driven and highly motivated.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage confidential information.
- Statistical modeling skills a plus (Tableau, Power BI, TM1).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and financial reporting tools (TM1) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, diplomacy, and judgment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet time constraints, handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork ethic, proactive attitude, ownership of responsibilities.
Remote Role: This position is classified as remote; the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates may work from the office when required for business reasons or directed by manager.
Travel: Minor travel may be required to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or business reasons.
Physical Environment / DemandsMost work is performed in a temperature‑controlled office environment. The incumbent may sit for long periods, use a keyboard and other office equipment. Tasks may involve standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching.
