Focus One is seeking a Contract Mortgage Underwriter to support conventional loan production remotely on a per-file compensation basis. This 1099 contract position is ideal for underwriters experienced with Fannie Mae guidelines.
Responsibilities include underwriting loan files, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in mortgage underwriting and strong communication skills. Preference for candidates located in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.
