Analyst - Huntington Capital Advisory

Description

Huntington Capital Advisory ("HCA") is seeking an Analyst to support bankers in delivering integrated capital markets and strategic advisory solutions to privately held businesses. HCA serves as a central advisory hub, partnering across Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Wealth, and Sponsor Coverage to drive growth, optimize capital structures, and support business transitions.

This role will be located in Huntington's Charlotte, NC office.

• Support development of high-quality client presentations, and approval memoranda for internal committees
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and comparable transaction analysis as part of delivering complex capital structuring solutions to our clients
• Partner with senior and junior bankers to prepare for client meetings and advance pipeline activity
• Manage workflow to meet transaction and client deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate across coverage and product teams to support execution and drive outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, materials, and analytical processes
• Generate insights and ideas to support new business development and client strategy

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 79 & 63 licenses within 180 days of hire
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience (financial background preferred)
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proactive, solutions-oriented individual capable of operating independently with limited oversight
• Ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines
• Strong teamwork orientation and intellectual curiosity

We’re combining the best of both worlds: in-office and work-from-home. Remote roles will also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
