Here at Walmart and Sam’s Club, we are committed to recruiting, supporting and developing exceptional students who are looking to help us power the future of retail. This 2‑day summit at our headquarters in Northwest Arkansas will be an interactive experience filled with professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and social engagements with leaders, associates and campus recruiters who are invested in YOUR success.
Invited students will also have the opportunity to be considered for Summer 2026 internships and full‑time AFDP positions in either the Accounting or Finance Track. Apply today to join us!
- When? Thursday, October 2nd – Saturday, October 4th
- Where? Our Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas
- Who? Current undergraduate students pursuing a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or other business‑related fields with graduation dates between Dec 2025 – May 2028
- What’s Covered? The summit is funded by Walmart with flights, hotel, meals, transportation and activities provided by us
- Deadline: 5 pm CT on September 10th (all students will be notified of their participation status no later than 9/15)
- Meet and hear from leaders and associates across our various accounting and finance teams
- Learn about career opportunities in our Accounting Track & Finance & Strategy Track in the Accounting and Finance Development Program (AFDP)
- Attend a wide range of professional development workshops and sessions
- Participate in formal and informal networking as well as social events and engagements
- Explore the Northwest Arkansas area and learn more about the community
- Invitation to interview for a summer 2026 internship or full‑time position in AFDP or Global Audit
A successful candidate will not require sponsorship.
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00–$35.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
