The Associate/AVP, Quantitative Strategist role at GIC offers a chance to apply quantitative and data science techniques to enhance investment decision-making. You’ll work with diverse datasets to generate insights and collaborate with various teams to integrate quantitative models. What You’ll Do- Conduct research and analysis to support investment teams
- Communicate results and solutions effectively to stakeholders
- Collaborate with technology and risk teams to integrate models
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics
- At least 2 years in a quantitative role within finance
- Proficiency in R or Python and SQL
- Understanding of Credits, Structured Products, and financing
- Highly motivated and intellectually curious
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player who can build relationships
- Experience with funds or funds of funds is a plus
- Work in a vibrant office that encourages collaboration
- Enjoy flexibility in choosing work-from-home days
