Summary
NIBC is looking for a junior Financial Controller to join our Financial Control team.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial controller you will be part of the Financial Control team, where all control and financial reporting activities for the consolidated and statutory accounts take place. You will focus on maintaining, closing, and reporting upon the entities of NIBC, covering Dutch GAAP reporting and group reporting (IFRS). You will be involved in the monthly financial closing process and perform controls and analysis.
You will proactively contribute to improving processes and controls, including maintaining the Internal Control Framework (ICF) and working on operational risk related tasks. The role includes supporting the elimination and consolidation process, preparing IFRS‑based financial statements and disclosures, and coordinating monthly closing procedures.
What do you bring?
- Completed a relevant degree (Bachelor or Master in Accountancy or Business Economics).
- Approximately 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with setting up financial statements.
- Fluent language skills in English and Dutch.
- Strong numerical analysis skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Curiosity and a desire to get to the bottom of complex problems.
