Job DescriptionThe Operations Finance team seeks a self‑motivated, highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to provide analytical support and influence company initiatives by transforming data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities- Develop and generate accurate financial reports, including analytical insights to support the finance organization.
- Prepare executive‑ready analysis and presentation materials for senior leadership, delivering insights during month‑end close and beyond.
- Assist with the development of field and business forecasts.
- Drive automation and analytics initiatives (Excel, Power
BI, AI‑enabled reporting) to streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and shift the organization from manual reporting toward insight‑driven decision‑making. - Perform ad‑hoc analysis where strong Excel skills and an analytical background are essential.
- Collaborate with each business segment and their operational and finance leads.
- Act as a liaison between Corporate FP&A, Accounting, and the Operational Finance team.
- Conduct market and operational research to identify business trends.
- Partner with field leaders to assist in driving operational results focused on sales, margin, expenses, and income.
- Support the business through merger and acquisition activity.
- Evaluate project viability using ROI and capital investment analysis.
- Direct the business to be more analytically driven rather than purely reporting‑focused.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights that answer the what, why, and next steps.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Advanced or expert skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred experience in Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, Alteryx, or similar.
- Experience working with large‑scale data, reporting tools, and other financial systems.
- Exceptional planning and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong analytical communication skills and the ability to present core information concisely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Skill in prioritizing workload to achieve effective results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Minimum Degree:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, or related field.
5–7years of finance experience required.
Travel RequirementsNational travel, approximately 10%.
LocationCharlotte, NC – primarily on‑site with flexibility for remote work as needed.
Physical RequirementsTypical office environment, standing, bending, lifting boxes under 10lb, and prolonged sitting. Regular data input/retrieval in automated/computer systems.
Compensation$75,300.00 – $ base salary, depending on relevant factors.
