Are you a tax professional with a passion for helping others? Join our team as a Seasonal Tax Expert, where you’ll guide Canadians through their tax preparation journey. This remote, part‑time role offers flexibility, meaningful client interactions, and the opportunity to make a real impact during tax season.

• Provide expert tax advice to clients on personal tax matters, including self‑employment, rental income, investments, and foreign income.
• Review and support personal tax filings using professional tax software.
• Communicate with clients via video and chat in a professional, clear, and friendly manner.
• Research and explain tax concepts using official CRA resources.
• Accurately document client interactions and maintain data confidentiality.
• Manage your schedule using the scheduling tool; hours are available based on demand, on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

• Minimum 2 years of professional, paid experience preparing Canadian personal tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and credits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience preparing Québec (TP1) tax returns is an asset.
• Experience with professional tax software and complex filings (self‑employment, T1135, foreign income, etc.).
• Must reside and work within Canada (equipment cannot be accessed from outside the country).
• CRA RepID (Representative Identifier) required upon onboarding.
• Flexible availability (minimum 15–20 hours per week; more hours may become available closer to the filing deadline).
