About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of a segment of the organization's real estate loan portfolio. Responsibilities include collaborating and maintaining relationships with mortgage bankers, borrowers and attorneys. Prepare and complete analysis and recommendations for loan events in accordance with the terms of the loan and outside the terms of the loan, this may include assumptions, modifications, collateral replacement, guarantor replacement and others.
This is a remote role with required travel to the Bellevue office for in-person events a few times per year.
What you will do
- Collect data, conduct research, analyze and assess risk for Loan Events on a $10+ billion commercial mortgage portfolio. Analysis and due diligence may include property operating statements, rent rolls, property inspections, tax returns, personal financial statements, credit and background reports, appraisals, sale contracts, title reports, liquidity statements to determine net worth and liquidity, and calculating NOI and DSCR. Examples of Loan Events include lease reviews, assumptions, modifications, collateral replacement, guarantor replacement, partial releases, condemnations, and insurance casualty.
- Prepare and complete a written analysis and present recommendations to senior management for approval. Recommendations may include property economics, borrower/sponsor entity and credit analysis, valuation, comparative vs. market trend, etc.
- Track Loan Events for timely resolution and customer service. Perform closing functions for Loan Events in collaboration with legal counsel and Lead Portfolio Managers. Loan Event closing requires working comprehension and review of commercial loan documents, entity vesting documents, title reports and the ability to select, prepare and complete documents including NDA's, loan modification agreement, assumption agreement, escrow agreement, guaranty and lender instructions.
- You will independently interact with internal and external clients including mortgage bankers, borrowers, legal counsel, escrow and title companies; may attend MBA national conference. Direct communication with mortgage bankers for Loan Events and portfolio surveillance.

Salary Range: $72,700 - $121,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs
