Actuarial Domain Specialist Remote

Become an Actuarial Domain Specialist at Oliver Wyman in a hybrid/remote capacity. Focus on pricing, reserving, or capital modeling while driving impactful risk management solutions.

This full-time role seeks an experienced actuary to provide exceptional technical leadership within our P&C Actuarial Consulting Practice. You will validate and challenge model outputs, oversee actuarial analyses, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will be critical in communicating recommendations to finance and senior stakeholders while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical initiatives in actuarial pricing, reserving, or capital modeling

• Validate model assumptions and outputs with detailed documentation

• Oversee complex actuarial analyses for various client engagements

• Review changes and ensure deliverables align with business objectives

• Prepare executive-level reports and present findings

Requirements:

• Fellowship in a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FCAS/FIA)

• Several years of hands-on actuarial experience

• Familiarity with actuarial programming tools (Python, SQL, etc.)

• Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience mentoring junior actuarial staff
