Senior Risk Analyst

Position: Senior Risk Analyst Hybrid Role
Step into a rewarding Senior Risk Analyst role in Toronto with a hybrid work model. This 8-month contract focuses on market and credit risk reporting along with analytics enhancement.

As a Senior Risk Analyst, you'll engage with various departments to leverage your financial product knowledge for robust monitoring and reporting of risk movements. You'll also play a vital role in delivering insights that support technology changes and improve analytical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily VaR ETL and Greeks for accurate reporting

• Maintain and enhance BI risk analysis tools in-house

• Conduct market data checks and address reporting issues

• Collaborate on business requirements for reporting design

• Perform UAT testing on modifications in the risk system

Requirements:

• More than 3 years in risk management within finance

• Expertise in risk measurement and derivatives pricing

• Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Relevant Master's degree or CFA/FRM designation preferred
