Job Description
The Billing Analyst will play a crucial role in the day-to-day billing operations, primarily focusing on creating and processing customer invoices and compiling related support documentation. This position supports the Revenue and Billing team, contributing to efforts to improve invoicing efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
Responsibilities- Create, process, and send customer invoices, including compiling supporting documentation, accurately and timely.
- Assist in generating customer credit memos and subsequent re-bills, as needed.
- Review and resolve invoice-related inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining customer contract files in an organized manner.
- Assist in reconciling invoice data to ensure the accuracy of revenue.
- Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and other process documentation.
- Prepare schedules and provide information to support audits.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Support ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed.
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience specifically with billing customers.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for handling complex spreadsheet work.
- Experience with Reconciliation, Accounting, Invoicing, and Billing systems.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and GAAP standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to recommend process enhancements to improve department efficiencies and enhance accuracy and control over the billing process.
This is a newly created role as part of a team consolidation effort. It is a contract-to-hire position with conversion schedules in place. The schedule is onsite Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm. The role reports directly to the Technical Accounting Director. The team is growing rapidly, with plans to expand to 40 members by the end of 2026.
Currently, the team works on the 4th floor, with renovations underway on the 10th floor, expected to be ready by Summer 2026.
Contract to hire position based out of Norwalk, CT.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
