WhatYou'll Do
In this role, you’ll handle end-to-end loan processing for independent brokers across the U.S. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping files on track—from initial application to closing—by coordinating with borrowers, lenders, title companies, and other third parties. You’ll use your industry expertise and judgment to troubleshoot issues, maintain compliance, and ensure we exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high-volume pipeline while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Review and prepare disclosures and other loan documents.
- Analyze borrower documentation including income, credit, and assets.
- Collaborate with loan officers and borrowers to clear conditions and meet deadlines.
- Manage third-party service orders including appraisals, title work, and VOEs.
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve delays.
- Use a variety of LOS/POS platforms and leverage modern tools to streamline processes.
- Help refine processes and workflows in a dynamic, startup environment.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
- At least 2 years working specifically with independent mortgage brokers (not in lender-retail or correspondent setups).
- Deep familiarity with conventional (FNMA/FHLMC), FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan products.
- Proven ability to calculate income and review documents for pre‑qualification accuracy.
- Hands‑on experience with broker LOS platforms (Arive and Lending Pad strongly preferred).
- Comfortable working with a wide range of wholesale lenders (e.g. UWM, Penny Mac, Rocket, etc.).
- Able to independently manage 25+ active files with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Highly organized, proactive, and takes full ownership of your work.
