Sr. Controller

Overview

This opening offers flexibility, with the option to work from home two days per week and to choose on‑site hours that suit your schedule. You will have your own office and work directly with key management team members at a forward‑thinking company.

• Lead, motivate and coach a team of direct and indirect accounting staff.
• Coordinate all reporting and consolidate financials.
• Lead all internal and external audits.
• Manage day‑to‑day treasury and cash flow.
• Develop, improve and enhance accounting policies, procedures and KPIs.
• Prepare financial reports in the ERP system and MS Excel.
• Complete and finalize all activities for monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing of books for multiple locations, including P&L, G/L review, journal entry review and posting, and consolidation of financials and analysis.
• Improve accounting processes, guidelines and KPIs.
• Plan and analyze forecasts, budgets and financials.
• Supply the company and the leadership team with accurate and timely financial data.
• Partner daily with managers to supply timely accounting data.
• Track cost‑saving activities for the site.
• Prepare and present accurate accounting data.
• Complete special accounting projects based on requests from management.
• Complete other tasks as requested by management.

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Finance or Accounting.
• At least five years in a similar controller position.
• Experience leading accounting initiatives in manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience owning month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Experience overseeing others.

• MBA and/or CPA.
• Experience working for multi‑site organizations.
• Power BI proficiency.
