Finance Budget Officer

Position: Finance Budget Officer Hybrid Role

In this temporary full-time position, you'll report to the Financial Business Administrator while managing the Corporate Operating Budgets. You'll actively collaborate with City Departments and maintain essential budget information within the Corporate systems. Key responsibilities include supervising Budget Analysts and ensuring data input is accurate for budget processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor Corporate Operating Budgets

• Prepare analyses, reports, and schedules for budgeting needs

• Supervise Budget Analyst and related clerical staff

• Collaborate with Financial Services on budget-related processes

• Prepare year-end financial reports and packages

Requirements:

• Degree completion with CPA PREP modules, or equivalent

• 2-3 years of related experience in budgeting

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial software

• Ability to liaise across various departments

• Capacity for providing detailed budget analyses
