We're looking for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and brings a strong work ethic to support important financial functions tied to Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects that make a difference in our community.
In this role, you'll help manage purchase-related requests, process changes, reconcile invoices for payment, and support accounting and financial activities while ensuring compliance with County policies and funding requirements. About the Position
If selected, you will...
- Provide assistance with the development, maintenance, data updates, and retention of new and/or existing financial models, records, and information for the functional areas supported by the Office of Financial Management (OFM).
- Review and administer the proper funding allocation per pay application on projects with multiple funding sources.
- Prepare and present financial and statistical records, reports, and reconciliations to Owner Representatives, Project Managers, Program Managers, and other internal and external customers.
- Perform contract administration and fiscal review of CIP project-related contracts, change orders, Interim Field Change Agreements (IFCAs), and other various associated correspondence.
- Responsible for the maintenance and reporting of the Owner Direct Purchasing Program (ODPP) contracts and associated quotes, demonstrating fiscal stewardship in the resultant tax savings to the County.
- Assist with fiscal oversight of various developer agreements to ensure fiscal and contractual compliance.
- Coordinate operating policies and procedures as they pertain to the year-end closing of CIP projects.
- Facilitate waivers, sole sources, Term Contract Authorization Form (TCAFs), and asset management documentation for internal customers.
- Partner with Procurement and Clerk Finance, ensuring countywide adherence to policies and procedures.
- Partner with departments and the OFM Grants team on compliance with various State, Federal, and other agency grants or LAP agreements.
- Serve as back-up for Budget Support team members during times of absence or unavailability.
About the Schedule
Work Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Typical Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. (no weekends!)

About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related field and 2+ years of progressively responsible professional experience.
- OR: Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for 1 year of the required experience.
- OR: 6+ years of related professional experience or certifications may substitute for the required education.
30 college credits are considered equivalent to 1 year of college.

About Everything Else
Starting Pay: $58,947.20
