Position: Mortgage Associate - Hybrid Role

As a Mortgage Associate at AIMCo, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on mortgage investments, gaining exposure to both domestic and international real estate. Your responsibilities will include monitoring portfolio trends, preparing investment materials, and maintaining financial models to evaluate opportunities. Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to bolster your expertise in the commercial mortgage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor portfolio trends and interest rates for informed investment insights

• Prepare investment committee materials and documentation

• Maintain financial models for evaluating investment performance

• Coordinate with teams for data collection and validation

• Develop ad hoc analyses and reports for strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field

• 2-3+ years in investment banking or related industries

• Knowledge of commercial real estate is an asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA

• Strong analytical and communication skills
