Galaxy Insurance Consultants is a subsidiary of Steadfast Group, a leading Australian-listed insurance broking network. Established in 1982, Galaxy has built a strong reputation in delivering trusted insurance broking solutions and professional client service.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities Financial & Credit Control- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions (tax invoices, receipts, payments, journals, and ledgers)
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Track insurance premiums, commissions, and brokerage income
- Ensure accurate allocation of payments to policies and clients
- Monitor outstanding premiums and follow up with clients
- Reconcile insurer statements and broker accounts
- Handle credit notes, refunds, and policy cancellations
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory requirements and company policies
- Assist in audits (internal and external)
- Maintain proper audit trail for all transactions
- Min diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in insurance brokerage or the financial services industry preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, or equivalent)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of brokerage operations and policy lifecycle is an advantage
- Familiarity with GST regulations in Singapore
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrity and strong sense of accountability
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Team-oriented mindset
- Office-based role in Singapore - Convenient CBD location
- 1 day work-from-home (WFH) per week

- Salary Range: $3,500~$3,800 (depending on experience)
