Job OverviewOur client is seeking a highly experienced Tax Attorney to join their team on a part-time basis, with the flexibility to work remotely. This role is ideal for someone looking to reduce their hours. The ideal candidate will support the tax team with research, training, and client communications. Experience in international tax compliance is preferred but not required. Candidates seeking part‑time work (20-30 hours per week) are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and value.
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented work environment.
- Support the tax team with research on tax issues and filing requirements that affect tax compliance.
- Provide training and guidance on complex tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities/guidance.
- Review tax communications and ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client services through effective communication and training.
- JD or LLM required.
- Must be personable and capable of building strong client relationships.
- Minimum of 10 years tax experience in public accounting.
- Experience in international tax compliance is preferred but not required.
- Strong tax research and writing skills.
- Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software.
- Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
