Reporting to the CFO, the Global Controller is a senior leader managing a team of ~20 employees responsible for overseeing the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and controllership functions. This role ensures the organization’s financial reporting and operations are compliant with accounting standards, legal requirements, and corporate policies. The Global Controller will lead the accounting team in producing accurate and timely financial statements, managing internal controls, overseeing audits, ensuring tax compliance and driving process improvements across all accounting operations.

The Global Controller will also collaborate closely with senior leadership to align finance function goals and outcomes with strategic business objectives. While Pharma Logic is a private equity-backed company that is not subject to public company requirements, experience with public company reporting, disclosure, internal control and legal requirements is highly valued as the company continues to scale.

This is a “work from home” position; the entire accounting function operates remotely with the majority of company interactions relevant to this role occurring on East Coast Time.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the U.S. accounting team, ~20+ direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration. Collaborate with heads of finance and accounting teams in Canada and Norway to achieve Finance function objectives.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members, providing regular performance feedback and professional development opportunities.
• Serve as a key partner to the CFO and other senior business and functional leaders in driving financial strategy and business performance.
• Collaborate with the CFO on global banking relationships, investment strategies, and capital structure / debt management.
• Partner with the CFO to identify and mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange, compliance, taxation, and other areas of global operations.
• Provide financial insights and analytics to support decision-making and business planning.
• Collaborate with finance (FP&A) and business / functional leaders to develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Provide financial and accounting expertise during mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Support PE sponsor reporting requirements and contribute to exit-readiness initiatives.
