Initiate contact with insurance companies to obtain eligibility and perform collections on outstanding accounts receivable;
Accurately estimate patient financial liability including copayments, deductibles, and coinsurances;
Receive and process patient payments and ensure pre-certification authorization or referral is in place;
Refer patients to Financial Counselors or Business Office as needed;
Maintain clear notes on financial clearance status in the system and adapt to changing priorities
