Job Overview

Retirement Plan Specialist – a fully remote, 40‑hour per week position that provides education, guidance and transparency around retirement product solutions (e.g., account rollover & retirement, annuity, term life, permanent life). Candidates will work with ongoing warm leads and existing clients, building relationships and assisting them with financial challenges. The role offers a bi‑weekly base salary plus monthly, quarterly and annual bonuses.

• Learn all products in the assigned specialty area, including an awareness of competitive offerings and regulations.
• Explain and ensure customers understand product options for routine inquiries and make product recommendations.
• Identify multi‑product needs and connect customers to other product specialists.
• Work with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent professional experience.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66 (required to be approved to do business in all states).
• Life and health licenses (must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• One year of experience in the financial services industry.
• Basic knowledge of financial products related to the assigned specialty area.
• Strong customer‑service, interpersonal and listening skills to earn client trust.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to recommend appropriate product solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for phone, email, video, chat, etc.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: CFP and/or CRPC certifications.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of CRM () and digital financial advice platforms.

Remote work environment. Schedule may vary to fulfill service levels during operating hours (7a.m. – 7p.m. CT, Monday to Friday).

Estimated total compensation for this role is $70,000 – $95,000 per year. The base salary generally ranges between $48,500 and $53,000 annually, with additional sales and performance incentives and an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan. Compensation may vary above and below these amounts as permitted by law.
