PURPOSE OF POSITION
The GCI Finance Analyst will provide high‑quality financial analysis, planning, and reporting to enable effective decision‑making and support business partners and leadership through accurate forecasts, performance insights, and financial governance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support development of annual and multi‑year plans.
- Build and maintain detailed budgets, ensuring data accuracy.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and outlooks.
- Analyze key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure consistency between actuals, forecasts, and plans.
- Partner with finance stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to validate assumptions and reconcile variances.
- Financial Modeling & Decision Support
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial and driver‑based models.
- Perform sensitivity, scenario, and ad‑hoc analysis.
- Support business cases, investment appraisals, and analytical needs.
- Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Reporting & Performance Management
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Perform variance analysis against plan and forecast.
- Develop clear variance narratives and performance insights.
- Analyze revenue, COGS, and Opex trends and identify improvement levers.
- Partnership, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Validate assumptions, resolve data issues, and support enterprise‑wide financial consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, modeling, and planning processes.
- Provide strategic advice and lead improvements in finance tools, processes, and reporting frameworks.

- Communication – conveys financial information clearly to finance and non‑finance audiences.

- Results – uses strong FP&A fundamentals and analytical skills.
- Safety & Security – follows workplace safety rules.
- Technical Proficiency – proficient in Excel, MS Office, and financial systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, including at least 1 year of financial modeling.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- CPA or CFA certifications.
- Knowledge of Oracle or equivalent accounting system.
- Telecommunications industry experience.
- Advanced forecasting, budgeting, and variance process experience.
- Primarily sedentary with daily computer use.
- Ability to work standard office/home office setting and standard equipment.
- Availability for occasional travel and extended hours if required.
