Position: Loan Servicing Specialist New United States - Remote

Loan Servicing Specialist

Climate First Bank is seeking a skilled Loan Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Operations team. The Specialist will manage daily servicing tasks, maintain accurate loan records, and support portfolio performance with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily loan transactions, including payments, adjustments, advances, payoffs, and fees.
  • Maintain accurate loan records in the core system.
  • Set up and manage automatic payments, rate changes, and payment schedules.
  • Prepare and process loan modifications, renewals, extensions, and restructures with appropriate approvals.
  • Monitor loan accounts for maturities, delinquencies, covenant triggers, and servicing exceptions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies to mitigate operational and compliance risk.
  • Perform quality‑control reviews and adhere to established servicing procedures and SLAs.
  • Support internal controls, dual‑control processes, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Generate and review servicing reports; assist with audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal partners and clients on servicing inquiries.
  • Research and resolve complex servicing issues.
  • Support escrow administration, account balancing, collateral tracking, lien documentation, and insurance coverage monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and support system enhancements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of loan servicing or banking experience (commercial loan experience and core systems knowledge a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Self‑starter capable of working independently in a high‑volume environment.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Team‑orientated, dependable, and positive contributor to group goals.
Work Environment
  • Remote role within the United States;
    Eastern Standard Hours.
  • Occasional U.S. travel for company events.
