Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Remote Loan Servicing Data Analyst for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to capital and supporting economic opportunity through innovative lending programs. This is a fully remote, 12-month contract opportunity open to candidates located within the Continental United States.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Loan Servicing Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting loan portfolio operations through data analysis, payment reconciliation, and servicing reporting. Working closely with Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) partners, third-party servicing vendors, and internal fund management teams, this position helps ensure the accuracy and integrity of loan servicing data across multiple portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented data professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges while supporting a mission-driven organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reconcile loan servicing data across servicing systems, accounting records, and partner-reported information
Analyze, validate, and maintain loan-level datasets to support portfolio reporting and operational accuracy
Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to loan payments, balances, and transaction activity
Coordinate with CDFI partners, third-party servicing vendors, and internal stakeholders to support servicing operations and issue resolution
Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation processes, servicing workflows, and data validation activities
Contribute to process improvements that enhance servicing accuracy, reporting quality, and operational efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in data analytics, loan servicing, financial operations, banking operations, or a related field
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets
Experience performing data validation, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution across multiple data sources
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $43-$46 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Eligible employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits. This position is expected to last approximately 12 months.
