Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and approve/deny mortgage loan applications
• Ensure compliance with lending guidelines and standards
• Conduct quality assurance and audits on submitted applications
• Identify and escalate suspicious documentation
• Collaborate with brokerage professionals and the service team
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in finance, business, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
• Proficiency in MS Office and mortgage processing software
• Outstanding communication and multitasking skills
• A collaborative team spirit and independence in work
