FX Sales Dealer

Overview

We are recruiting an Associate, FX Sales Dealer for our Treasury Division in Amsterdam. In this role you will manage FX business for new or existing customers across a wide range of currencies, generate income for MBE, and support the Treasury Division’s trading and risk objectives.

• Deal with customers, relevant departments, and offices of the MUFG Group by generating and distributing market information relevant to our corporate and institutional clients’ activity and interests.
• Contribute to the completion of the team’s workload and support team members, enhancing the quality of operations through close communication with relevant departments, branches, and customers.
• Initiate FX positions within notified trading limits to achieve personal or team profit targets.
• Identify new FX business opportunities through acquisition of new customers or cross‑sales to existing customers in cooperation with relationship managers, primary offices, EGMD, and relevant divisions in Japan and other countries.
• Pursue accurate customer treasury business execution and relevant business administration.
• Record and monitor FX positions and ensure these are within the Bank’s stated credit limits for counter parties.
• Support the Division Head in a variety of matters such as budget control, operations, legal, system environment, and others.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s rules, policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Travel to the branch locations in Amsterdam, Vienna, Brussels, Germany, and Spain, and meet with customers as part of the responsibility of the FX sales desk.

• University degree.
• At least 2‑3 years of relevant working experience within FX business.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and German are essential;
  Dutch, Japanese, or other language skills are also appreciated.
• Personal requirements: integrity, responsibility, risk‑balanced mindset, customer focus, global perspective, professionalism, teamwork, drive for results, collaboration, communication, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.

• Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market.
• 8% holiday allowance and 13th month payment.
• 30 vacation days per year (plus the possibility to purchase 15 additional days).
• Commuting allowance: €0,23 per km with a maximum of 75km one way, or based on annual public transport 2nd class.
• €5,00 net remote working compensation per day, up to €60,00 per month.
• Option to order a mobile phone (up to €800) or office equipment for the home office (up to €500).
• Remote Working Policy including Working From Home and remote working in another country.
• Bicycle plan (fiscal benefit), company fitness (fiscal benefit), mental health workshops and budget for external courses (e.g., Dutch language classes).
• Employee contribution to pension insurance (max 5%, currently 2%).
• Training and development possibilities paid by the bank.
