Job Description
We are part of New Issues department, composed of the following four groups:
- Acceptance
- Dedicated Services to Lead Manager, Issuing Agents
- Securities Information
- New Issues Distribution
New Issues Acceptance team is responsible for admission of financial instruments in Euroclear System, both on the primary and secondary market. We handle a variety of asset classes, including fixed income, equities, warrants and hybrid instruments. We perform eligibility review, applying legal, fiscal and operational criteria to determine securities’ acceptance into the Euroclear Securities Database.
We are at the start of the securities lifecycle. Once we open a record of the security in our database, other departments such as Asset Servicing and Collateral Management will follow.
During our daily work, we interact with a variety of external parties:
Lead Manager, Issuing Agents, Depositaries, CSDs and Issuers. We also collaborate closely with colleagues from other New Issues teams (Client Services, Securities Information, Documentation Management, Information Services) and other Euroclear departments (Legal, Compliance, Asset Servicing, Settlement, Collateral).
Your role primarily involves analysing securities documentation and verifying the eligibility of the security, both operationally and legally.
